Ms Lorén started me on the Violin 5 years ago - - she is the BEST teacher & so much FUN! I have come very far! I have played for 3 years in the Triangle Youth Orch 1st Violin and in my school Honors Orchestra. 🎻

Ms Hannah introduced me the the violin in my early teens and has taken me through 4 years of lessons. I play in several youth and school orchestras and LOVE playing the violin! The zoom recitals have pushed me to learn to be more comfortable performing and have given me a chance to share my violin with my grandparents and family.

My violin studies commenced in CT in the late 1990s w/ Lorén. She started me as an adult beginner and I worked with her 2 years before changing circumstances took each of us to different areas of the US. I wanted to get back to violin again and sought her out via the internet and started up again with online Zoom lessons! Lorén is wonderful teacher - so knowledgeable, skilled and supportive!!!

I am a 63 year old man and former scrapyard owner that has ALWAYS loved the Violin! I went to Lorén to learn to play the violin so I could perform 2 favorite tunes at my daughter's upcoming wedding. Not only have I learned those songs but have 2 binders FILLED with all types of music including classical, fiddle & even Led Zeppelin tunes! If she can get me playing - she can teach anyone! 👍

Your first lessonIntroduce the student to the Violin or Viola - have them become familiar with your instrument and the proper playing positions. Plucking a song.

Lesson 11+Constant improvement with their sound with regular practice and ability to read and understand sheet music.

Lesson 4-10More expertise in producing a great sound with the Bow and fingers together. Expanding the students repertoire.

Lesson 2-3Ability to draw a good sound out of their Violin or Viola & start to learn the fingerboard to play songs & tunes.

About your violin coach

Lorén Hannah has over 30 years of teaching experience on Violin & Viola, specializing in private instruction and coaching. She teaches all levels (ages 6-86) in-person at her Home Studio in Snellville, GA and on-line via Zoom. Lorén is a graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music & has performed for decades in numerous ensembles and solo events. In her string coaching she endeavors to instill the love, joy & fun of music while teaching songs, technique & fundamentals for success!
