I've dedicated 30 years to playing the violin and have taught for 20 years. I've was fortunate enough to study under several former pupils of the renowned Jascha Heifetz. Alongside my playing, I specialize in transcribing existing works for violin and piano and small ensembles, particularly drawn to the 20th-century violin repertoire.

Some people teach violin but aren't great violinists. Andrew is one who is a great teacher AND great violinist. I learned something new, sometimes a lot of new things, in all my lessons with him over 2 years! Study with Andrew Ramage!
