Advanced training plan

Your first lessonPerformance of previous repertoire Goals for performance and perspective on music. Sight reading and new short term goals for next lessons. Alter or complete current repertoire

Lesson 11+Any new requirements will be discussed. New repertoire after recital along with consistent skills and theory. Any scheduling conflicts for the next 90 days is presented.

Lesson 4-10Plan long term goals. Plan musical calendar and recital. Emphasize music theory, listening and musical commitments outside of private lessons

Lesson 2-3How did you commit to our goals? Gauge the understanding from the previous lesson and plan frequency of lesson sessions. Assign any additional repertoire for short term expectations

About your violin coach

My mother made me start playing violin at 3 years old. I started traditionally learning Suzuki in Buffalo, NY. I took ownership of the instrument in at 12 years old practicing after school and for cultural events. I have always taught musicians that were less skilled and would lead by example to further their understanding. With 30 years of experience, I guide students to find their own voice through the instrument. I tailor lessons to individual needs, fostering both technical mastery and a lifelong love of music.
