Dr. Rhiannon Koehler is a veterinarian and medical writer with over a decade of experience working in veterinary medicine. Dr. Koehler’s clinical experience mostly includes working for non-profit clinics and animal shelters, where she provides veterinary care to underserved communities and works to keep pets and people together. Dr. Koehler started Evergreen Medical Writing, LLC, with the goal of providing medically accurate content to the public. Her main aim is to ensure that pet parents have easy access to veterinarian-written content, allowing them to make well-informed decisions regarding pet health care. Dr. Koehler is a member of the American Medical Writers Association (AMWA) and American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA). She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and Master of Public Health (MPH) degrees in 2019 and her Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science in 2015 from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
