Beginner training plan
Your first lessonFirst lesson is generally used to gauge where the player is at and then progress towards building out a plan based on the player’s goals.
Lesson 11+By lesson 11, the player should start to feel that their tennis game has grown and beginning to click. They should now be demonstrating a higher level of on court control and consistency. Competitive nature should be advancing as well by the 11th lesson.
Lesson 4-10By lesson 4-10, a player should be actively starting to build their tennis community as well as having a clearer vision of what they would like their tennis future to look like.
Lesson 2-3By lesson 2-3, the player should start to feel more confident in their tennis game as well as on court awareness.

Has a great first-time session with Will that focused on my goals of grip choice and forehand / backhand swing mechanics.

About your tennis coach

The highest level I have played is 4.0 ladder league tournaments. What makes me a great coach for beginners is my ability to break down the fundamentals of the game into clear, actionable steps. I focus on building a solid technical foundation and proper court movement from the very first lesson, ensuring new players develop the right habits to progress quickly and stay injury-free.
