Beginner training plan
Your first lessonIn our first session, I focus on getting to know the player, their experience, comfort level, and natural ability. We will start with the absolute basics: proper grip and swing fundamentals. This session is about building a strong foundation.
Lesson 11+With the fundamentals in place, we will begin targeted development. Recognizing a player’s strengths and areas for improvement, we will tailor drills to refine specific skills.
Lesson 4-10Now we will start adding more layers: net play, serves, returns, and rallying. I introduce new concepts at the player’s pace. Each component of the game is taught with clear instruction and flexible approaches based on how the player learns best.
Lesson 2-3These sessions will build directly off the first. We will go through consistent reps of key skills like groundstrokes, footwork, and positioning. I focus on building confidence through simple, repeatable drills.
