I am a college student who has a passion for the game of tennis. I like to teach in a positive environment that encourages growth while having fun. I have been coaching for 4 years now and have worked with kids as little as 4 years old, college players competing for their school, and adults who play more recreationally.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonI like to gauge how experienced the player is by asking them about their experiences and seeing how they do through a series of drills that works on most parts of the game
Lesson 11+Continuing to add onto our shot selection with increasingly difficult challenges through drills, competition, and fun.
Lesson 4-10Developing rally consistency, fine tuning grounds strokes, as well as point production.
Lesson 2-3Time will be spent on conditioning, coordination training, and beginner stroke production with coach fed balls.
Youth players
Working with kidsWith kids it can be difficult for them to understand some of the technique of tennis because it can be quite frustrating . Because of this I make sure to work slowly with them and encourage them to have fun as well as making sure they understand the value of the sport.
Working with teenagersWhen I work with teenagers most of the time they are trying to play for their high school team, or are trying to go play college tennis. Whatever it is I make sure during the lessons that there is a larger amount of conditioning and discipline when it comes to mistakes because of how competitive the interscholastic sports environment is.
