I was lucky enough to find coach Shannon for my little ones. In a desperate attempt to distract kiddos from devices, I wanted to try tennis with the little ones, who each has their personalities. Coach Shannon is a wonderful coach. She has been always so encouraging to the girls and trying different ways to make the lessons fun. When the girls were having their moments, she accommodated based on situations. She has been very patient and an excellent coach. I also had my private session with her and enjoyed it very much. How it works
Beginner training plan
Your first lessonI get right to it and try to get the player hitting and rallying as soon as possible - the fun factor! I teach how to start a rally, how and where to toss the ball, swing path, angle of the racket and speed of the swing.
Lesson 4-10Once the forehand and backhand are somewhat established, with grip changes, I will start to teach the serve and eventually volley.
Lesson 2-3I start getting more technical, make sure I cover the back hand and move into grips.
What you need to bringRacquet, if you have one. I have some to borrow too.
