Beginner training plan
Your first lessonI’ll start by understanding more about the player, which includes their level, goals, athletic history and how I can help them. I would go through the fundamentals and basic technique such as grips and strokes.
Lesson 2-3Each lesson from this point on will be personalized to the player. I will work with the player on the fundamentals while also identifying what areas need further improvement. My goal will be to build good habits and confidence for the player.
Lesson 4-10Lessons will continue to focus on the player’s needs and will gradually build in complexity as they progress and develop new skills and improve existing ones.
Lesson 11+At this point, players will be able to rally with consistency and move around the court. Lessons will focus on more specific topics on footwork, rally patterns, court awareness, tennis tactics and more.
