Beginner training plan
Your first lessonI begin with an introduction to some basics and let the student gain more confidence. Then, based off the comfort level of the student, I start introducing techniques to improve strokes and body mechanics.
Lesson 11+Setting goals and establishing a plan to meet those goals. This might involve more training on technique, fitness, movement, and coordination.
Lesson 4-10Repetition of techniques with a goal towards maintaining a rally. Building confidence at this stage is important!
Lesson 2-3More emphasis on technical stroke production and an introduction to footwork.
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonEstablishing goals and desired outcomes for the student. Analysis of the players level and recommendations to meet the goals the student has. Creating a lesson plan and immediately addressing the problem or desired skill the student has.
Lesson 11+Recommendations for additional skills and a plan moving forward to reach the next level.
Lesson 4-10An application of the new skills into match play and giving feedback to the student. Tailoring each lesson to further improve and enhance the skills that are being worked on.
