Hey there! I’m Misi, a passionate tennis coach with years of experience both playing and teaching the game. I have 17 years of experience playing very high-level tennis throughout my career, and now I just want to give all my knowledge to future players and everyone who wants to improve. I played collegiate tennis at a high level, dedicating four years to the ACU Men’s Tennis team, where I honed my skills in singles and doubles while competing against top players. With a USPTA Level 1 certification in progress, I specialize in helping players of all levels improve their technique, strategy, and overall confidence on the court. What sets me apart? I focus on personalized coaching—whether you’re a beginner looking to learn the fundamentals or an advanced player aiming to refine your game, I tailor each session to fit your goals. Beginner training plan
Your first lessonWe’ll start with the basics—grips, footwork, and foundational strokes like forehand and backhand. I’ll assess your level and introduce fun, easy drills to get you comfortable on the court. My goal is to make learning engaging and stress-free so you leave feeling confident and excited for the next lesson!
Lesson 11+Now it’s time to level up! We’ll sharpen your technique, improve consistency, and work on tactical skills. Whether your goal is recreational or competitive, I’ll tailor these lessons to help you dominate the court. You’ll be reacting faster, making smarter shot choices, and feeling like a true tennis player!
Lesson 4-10This is where things click! We’ll refine your strokes, improve footwork, and introduce strategy—where to place shots and how to set up points. Expect to play longer rallies, develop a stronger serve, and gain confidence in match play. By lesson 10, you’ll be playing like a real competitor!
Lesson 2-3Now that you know the basics, we’ll focus on consistency, movement, and technique. You’ll start rallying more, work on your serve, and play fun drills that make learning feel like a game. By the end of these lessons, you’ll see real improvement and feel more in control of your shots!
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonIn our first lesson, we’ll assess your current skill level, strengths, and areas for improvement. We’ll go through high-intensity drills, technical fine-tuning, and situational point play to set a strong foundation for your training. Expect a fast-paced session with a focus on precision, movement, and strategic shot selection.
Lesson 11+At this stage, you’ll be training like a high-level competitor, refining every aspect of your game for peak performance. We’ll fine-tune your strengths, eliminate weaknesses, and ensure you’re fully prepared for tournament play or high-level matches. Every session will be intense, focused, and designed to make you a smarter, more dominant player on the court.
Lesson 4-10Now it’s time to take things up a notch! We’ll focus on advanced shot-making, including spin control, depth variation, and net play, while also strengthening your endurance and mental toughness. Match strategy, pattern development, and adaptability will be key as we simulate real competitive play.
Lesson 2-3These lessons will refine your technique, footwork, and tactical awareness while pushing you to hit with more consistency and confidence. We’ll incorporate advanced drills, live-ball hitting, and match scenarios to sharpen your decision-making under pressure. The goal is to elevate your game to a more competitive level.
Youth players
Working with kidsI make tennis fun and engaging for kids by using interactive drills, games, and challenges that keep them excited to learn. My focus is on building coordination, basic technique, and a love for the sport in a supportive and energetic environment.
Working with teenagersWith teenagers, I tailor lessons to improve their technical skills, strategy, and match play while keeping sessions dynamic and goal-oriented. Whether they’re playing for fun or competition, I help them develop confidence, consistency, and a deeper understanding of the game.
What you need to bringStudents should bring their own racket if they have one, plenty of water, and wear comfortable athletic clothing and tennis shoes for the best experience on the court.
What I can bringI provide up to three adult rackets for players who need them, along with a basket of balls, cones, and other training accessories to enhance each lesson. My goal is to create a well-equipped and engaging training environment, whether you're a beginner or an advanced player.
