Usually, I find the lessons helpful, and this one really stood out because of the immediate feedback after a few hits, which made me stop and think about what I was doing wrong. Though I’m still working on improving all my strokes and moving around the court more smoothly, I feel like I made some decent progress. Miguel's approach made me quite aware of my positioning and technique without feeling overwhelmed. If you’re into consistent, practical guidance, it’s worth trying his lesson.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonYou’ll start with establishing a strong foundation by going over the fundamental knowledge of different grips, strokes and proper body mechanics. Using a variety of drills to help get comfortable with racket position, ball control and overall preparation..
Lesson 4-10There should be a general understanding of forehands, backhands and serve grip at this stage. Now, The emphasis will be consistent rallies, target zone practice and serve progression up to full speed. Introduction to approach/volley technique and other game strategies will be introduced as skill level progresses.
Lesson 2-3Once you have a firm understanding of the fundamentals, we will get confident with serving and introduce movement. Here, we will break down serve progression and incorporate new games/ drills to gauge balance and agility while improving overall footwork. You will also gain an understanding of score keeping/tie-breakers.

Youth players
Working with kidsMy lessons for kids are all about fun, energy, and learning through play. I use games and simple drills to build a strong foundation while keeping things exciting and age-appropriate. The goal is to make every session something they look forward to, where they stay active, feel encouraged, and build confidence while learning the game.

Working with teenagersAt the high school (skill) level, I focus on building their skills while keeping things challenging, social, and fun. I mix in advanced drills, strategy, and teamwork to help them grow both on and off the court. Whether they’re aiming to compete or just get better, I create a positive space where they can push themselves, build confidence, and really enjoy the process.

What you need to bringStudents should be equipped with a racket, sweat towel, water and court shoes with thicker rubber soles and good lateral support. (Basketball shoes can work, but I recommend no running shoes)

What I can bringI can provide weights, resistance bands, agility equipment, and tennis balls.
