About your tennis coach
I’m Michelle, and I’m a Level 1 PTR certified tennis coach. Since I was 13, I was homeschooled to dedicate myself to tennis, competing in numerous junior tournaments and experiencing both victories and challenges along the way. I’ve been coaching since 2020 and have had the joy of teaching kids as young as 3 years old. I love coaching because it allows me to share the sport that has profoundly positively impacted my life and to make it fun and engaging for young players.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonMy first lessons are all about getting you comfortable and confident on the court. We start with the basics grip, swing, and movement then quickly get into fun rally drills so you can actually play and enjoy the game right away. Most beginners are able to rally within their first session!
Lesson 11+By lessons 11–20, players develop into confident, well-rounded athletes who can serve, rally, move, and compete. The focus shifts from just technique to strategy, decision-making, and real match play.
Lesson 4-10Lesson eight focuses on adding variety players begin working on different shot types like higher net clearance, deeper shots, and controlled placement to keep opponents moving.
Lesson 2-3After your first lesson, we level things up. In lessons 2 and 3, we focus on helping you keep rallies going longer, move better on the court, and start placing your shots with intention. We also introduce serving so you can begin playing real points. By this stage, you’ll feel more in control and actually start playing the game not just learning it.
