It was a great lesson with Matt! He was very helpful in improving my overall game and it was also a great workout

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonWe will focus on understanding what your strengths and weaknesses are. Working on a mix of forehand/backhand drills, volley/net work, footwork, serve, and conditioning. Also making sure you understand the rules of the game if we need to.
Lesson 11+Consistency is the main focus for these lessons. We’ll start looking into ball positioning from every type of stroke and net game. How to position your body and footwork for specific shot targeting. At this point we’ll also work on serve techniques and consistency.
Lesson 4-10We’ll keep honing those adjustments we make and start focusing on consistency. Making sure your strokes feel comfortable and make adjustments as we run through drills
Lesson 2-3We will revisit the first lesson and make slight adjustments to your game. Then use those adjustments to tailor the drills to your style. Again we will drill on every aspect from forehand/backhand, volley/net work, foot work, serve, and conditioning.

Advanced training plan
Your first lessonAs an advanced player my main goal is to improve YOUR style. Pinpoint the inconsistencies in YOUR game and make small adjustments as we drill. Footwork and ball positioning are a major focus. The speed at which we drill will be important to make sure you’re tuning your craft.
Lesson 11+Tougher and challenging drills to keep YOUR game dynamic. At this point you should be able to position the ball in a general area you’re aiming: cross court, down the line, deep hits, different types of spin, drop shot, and lobs.
Lesson 4-10Fast paced drills and conditioning while incorporating any changes we’ve made. Full coverage of drills and the small adjustments we make to improve YOUR style.
Lesson 2-3We will focus on those inconsistencies that we pointed out and do drills to improve that portion of your game. Footwork and ball positioning are still incorporated; focused on things we notice you need to improve on.

Youth players
Working with kidsWe make it fun and have a number of drills to keep them engaged. I make sure every kid gets their turn and continue to evaluate their skill level as we have lessons.

Working with teenagersA mix of fun and serious drills. These lessons will focus more on improving their game rather than fun drills. I’ll offer up improvements as we run through drills and lessons.
