About your tennis coach
Former D1 and D3 tennis player at Ball State University with a 12 UTR. One of my favorite moments in my career was making the Semifinals of the NCAA D3 Singles Championship in Orlando during my freshman year at Pacific University (Oregon). Tennis has been my passion since day one and it’s shaped who I am. Now I coach because I love helping others level up and see real improvement. Whether it’s fixing the little things or building confidence, I’m all about making the game more fun, competitive, and rewarding for every player I work with.

Hey, Mason's lesson was quite good, I think? He's definitely good at explaining things, and I noticed some useful tips during our time. Though, I still feel there's room for sharpening my technique, but I’m feeling optimistic about the next lesson. Still, it’d be great if some specific areas could be a bit more polished. But hey, I’d mention you should try Mason if you're looking for a steady, no-fuss coach.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonI start by watching how they move, hit the ball, and use their fundamentals, grip, swing, footwork, and timing. I analyze their strokes and how they respond to different shots. I also talk with them to understand how they think on court and where their game IQ is. From there, I make small tweaks to their technique, footwork, or shot selection that can make a big difference in helping them improve faster and raise their UTR.
Advanced training plan
Your first lesson
I watch how they move, hit, and think in live hitting or point play. I look at their patterns, shot choices, footwork, and how they respond under pressure. I’ll ask questions to see how they think the game, then start tweaking small things, like spacing, recovery steps, or timing, to level them up fast.
