I think it’s too early to rate much with a first lesson. The park was lovely and so was Loumienne. We were working in tennis courts which made the scale off but will make a change for future meetings. Loumienne did start the coaching with pointing out proper warmup exercises which I needed and then proper stance and paddle holding techniques. Then we practiced hitting balls. It was a good start.

I think the lesson with Loumienne really covered everything quite well, and I found that the overall experience was pretty good. The technique breakdowns helped me see where I can improve, especially since my backhand needs some work still. Though I still need to work on that, I’m hopeful the next lesson will have me hitting more confidently. If you're interested in sharpening your game, you might find trying a lesson with Loumienne worthwhile.
Beginner training plan
Your first lessonThe first lesson would be the foot works, basic forehand and backhand.
Lesson 11+Perfecting the strokes with more challenging spins and placement of balls.
Lesson 4-10Well work on service and smash. Feed more challenging strokes and stronger.
Lesson 2-3Polish forehand and backhand.
Next we will work on volleys.
What you need to bringThe students can bring their own tennis racquet but you can also borrow my extra for starters Please make sure to come in proper attire for tennis.
