Beginner training plan
Your first lesson- Focus on basics: grip, stance, and simple forehand and backhand swings.
- Introduce court layout and basic rules.
- Keep it fun and low pressure to build confidence.
Lesson 11+- Refine strokes with more advanced drills and strategy.
- Work on serve placement and second serve techniques.
- Introduce match play scenarios and mental toughness tips.
- Focus on fitness, agility, and endurance relevant to tennis.
Lesson 4-10- Add volleys and serve basics, focusing on technique.
- Introduce rallying with controlled feeds to build timing.
- Work on improving footwork and court positioning.
