Beginner training plan

Your first lessonTheme: Finding the sweet spot, controlling the ball height, and basic court spatial awareness.

Lesson 2-3Same as the first lesson.

Lesson 4-10Theme: Crossover vs. Down-the-line Theme: Overcoming the fear of the net and learning basic volley coordination.

Lesson 11+Theme: Bringing all the skills together to play an independent, confident match.

Advanced training plan

Your first lessonTheme: Establishing immediate control of the point from the first two shots.

Lesson 2-3Same as the first lesson.

Lesson 4-10Theme: Defending under pressure and turning a defensive position back into an offensive one. Theme: Capitalizing on short balls and finishing points cleanly at the net.

Lesson 11+Theme: Mental toughness, closing out sets, and adapting to different player styles (Pushers, Big Hitters).
