Beginner training plan
Your first lessonIn our first lesson we develop a basic understand of the tennis and game. We focus on quality movement, hand eye coordination and developing the forehand. We may work on the backhand as well depending on player skill level.
Lesson 11+More intense drills, increased nuances in the fundamentals and a strong focus on creating consistency with power.
Lesson 4-10From here you can expect a multitude of drills depending on individual progression and finally learning the tennis serve for a complete game play. Introduction to drop shots, lobs and other elements of a well rounded game are also included.
Lesson 2-3We will continue to develop the forehand, but move into drills for returning both forehand and backhand with more consistency. Will begin introducing more “at the bet” game play and volleys.

All you need is a racquet and appropriate shoes (no black soles to protect the courts).
What I can bringI will bring tennis balls, a ball hopper and any other appropriate training equipment. I have spare racquets for rent ($20 per session), but strongly advise learning on one you own if you can. Racquet “feel” can differ quite a bit and it’s important to find one that feels comfortable to you.

If you need to cancel your lesson, no worries! You can get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours of making your booking. We want to make the process as hassle-free as possible for you.

And if you simply want to reschedule your lesson, change the date and time, or adjust the number of students joining, we've got you covered there too. You can easily make these changes within 24 hours of booking, and up to 72 hours before your lesson starts.

As an experienced tennis player and NASM certified PT, I blend strategy, kinesiology alongside tennis fundamentals for real results and on-court success. Whether you're just starting out, or have been hitting for a while, let's elevate your game! *Requesting different coaching locations* I’m open to coaching at alternative locations in SD not listed on profile.
