As a mother, I like to have my children coached by the best in their pursuit to pursue excellence in whatever sport or activity they are involved in. After 8 years of gymnastics, my 12-year-old son, Jesse, decided to quit and try tennis. So, for the past 4 months, Ken Sjoberg has been coaching my son who has excelled rather quickly. After less than a month, Jesse moved from the beginner to intermediate class and 3 months later he has been moved up to the advanced class. To see the joy on his little face as he progresses is priceless! Since day 1, I have been completely blown away by the outstanding coaching that Ken has provided not just to my, son, but to every student. He simply is amazing at keeping the class moving while continually challenging and pushing the athletes to excel. His immediate verbal feedback after every stroke is invaluable to each student to help them make the necessary corrections to improve their game. There is a nice balance of corrective feedback and encouraging praise. The constant pace of different types of drills and challenges keeps the athletes engaged while having a good time. And, as an observer, I enjoy listening to the banter between the coach and the athletes while they practice. It can be quite entertaining! Lol! I have had the opportunity to see a lot of different coaches and coaching styles over the years for other sports (mostly gymnastics) over the past 20+ years with my children, and by far, Ken sets the bar extremely high. Not only does he teach the aspects of the game, but he also instills good sportsmanship and encourages the kids to work together as a team. In addition, his Assistant Coach Blake is also fantastic, makes a nice balance for the class as they switch groups half way through the class. If there is one thing I know…. You don’t know what you don’t know. KS Tennis USA is by far one of the best tennis programs, if not the best in The Woodlands/Spring area! If you are a youth or adult that is interested in tennis, you will definitely want to try KS Tennis USA! It’s completely free to give it a try and you’ll thank me later! We are so glad that we did!

My 12 year old daughter started the Junior Tennis program at Sawmill Park in January. So far I have been very impressed. My older daughter was a super champ for years and played varsity tennis throughout high school so I've had a lot of experience with different programs and coaches. Coach Ken is an excellent coach. He keeps the kids motivated and working hard but also makes sure they are having fun. It's important to him that his kids "love" the sport and want to come to practice. I know he has made a world of difference in tennis for my younger daughter. She's improving all the time and I'm sure she'll be a great addition to the varsity team in the future. I highly recommend this program and Coach Ken.

I found Ken about a month ago after deciding to pick up the sport again after several years due to a major injury. He is truly top notch with a deep understanding of the swing mechanics to fine tune any level of ability. He can spot things others just dont see and tailors teaching to see results while integrating the how/why so you approach the game strategically to create winning plays. Beginner, intermediate, or advanced Ken can bring your game to the next level so don't even waste time looking around, this guy is the real deal.

It is rare to come across a coach who is so committed and passionate for the improvement of our kids. My son Vishal has been going to his classes for last two years and his dedication has done wonders to my son's fitness and games. He has motivated him so much and has made the game so interesting for my son that my son has brought in myself and his sister into the game as well. We now play regularly and all thanks to the dedication of Coach Ken to his passion of making the best players out of our kids. Thank you Mr. Ken.

I've been working with Coach Ken for a little over a month and have loved the experience. He is very professional, communicates well, and my game continues to improve. Coach Ken knows the game well and is able to shift gears quickly to address gaps in my game. My daughter starts with him next week and I look forward to watching her learn from the best.

We can't say enough wonderful things about Coach Ken and his program. Our son has grown leaps and bounds in both skill and attitude since starting with this group. Each of the coaches that work with the program have left a positive impact on his life. We will definitely continue to benefit from their experience and passion for the game.
