Hello! I have been playing tennis for about 5 years. I played all the way up to the NJCAA Division 1 level, making it to the national tournament. I have experience coaching all ages and skills, from first time beginner to state champions. I can't wait to speak with you and improve your game!

We are very happy with the quality of the privates he has given our daughter. She is on the advanced side. Jon is great at quickly identifying what to work on to improve her game. He was able to coach her on technical improvements. We saw the results almost immediately. We are very happy working with Jon.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonEvaluation to see where your game is at to see what we should target. You will receive smaller tips on this day and minor adjustments
Lesson 11+I will continue to ask what you want to work on and begin more advanced skills for shots and scenarios that are not too common.
Lesson 4-10I will begin to ask you what you want to work on and include drills, games, play points and small adjustments to help you.
Lesson 2-3We will begin to target 1 or 2 items in your game and build those specific things to keep skill retainment high.
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonI will evaluate your game to see where you are in your game and give small adjustments. I will also ask you what you feel you are lacking in your game and your goals.
Lesson 11+We play points and do drills to continue to build consistency. We will make sure strengthening and conditioning is going well and I may even give you some homework!
Lesson 4-10We will check how those changes are holding up and discuss different aspects of your game and even equipment if needed. We will also evaluate match results and what we can fix. This includes drills to target those weaknesses. I will add strengthening and mobility work as well.
Lesson 2-3We will work on your requested components of your game, and include new challenges. We will play points to see common patterns and how we can solve them, including drills and points to solve them.
Youth players
Working with kidsI try to make tennis fun! I want you guys to enjoy the sport and as they grow up and decide what sport(s) they want to stick with, I will begin to increase the intensity. This will primarily include skill building games.
Working with teenagersI will work on skills to prepare them for high school or college teams. This includes dynamic warmups, skill drills, consultation, playing points, and review of any matches played.
