Beginner training plan
Your first lessonGrip, forehand and backhand technique, court positioning and movement.
Lesson 11+Intermediate to advance technique development, doubles and singles strategy, court and tactical awareness and footwork patterns.
Lesson 4-10Development of rally control, placement, spin serve, and basic singles tactics.
Lesson 2-3Serve, return, volley, overhead and transition game.
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonFootwork patterns and proper court movement and training.
Lesson 11+ Recognizing opponents strengths and weaknesses and developing a plan to win! How to train effectively to become a much higher level player (D3, D2 and D1).
Lesson 4-10Advance technique development, the development of a strong transition game and being able to recognize defense, neutral and offensive play during a point.
Lesson 2-3The use of spin to control your opponent and development of better consistency. Shot patterns and training methods to develop shot patterns in match play.
Youth players
Working with kidsI have had much success teaching young people as I had developed my own daughter to become a scholarship college level player.
Working with teenagersTeenagers want to excel in order to make the varsity team. I have much experience as a HS coach what HS coaches want. They want players with a team-first mindset, willingness to make changes and to be coached. Also, HS coaches want players with proper fundamentals but with room for growth.
