Beginner training plan
Your first lessonFor a beginner my goal is to get them to a place where they can hold a consistent rally. this is done by learning the forehand first and doing high five drills, working on racquet control, foot movement, and overall technique
Lesson 11+Refining technique, learning to hit the ball harder, be more aggressive on the court. Different serving and swinging techniques such as the slice and slap shot
Lesson 4-10By this point the student should be able to rally the ball and we can work on things like the serve. Property movement around the court. And full on gameplay.
Lesson 2-3No two students are alike so I create a unique lesson plan for each student. This will help us work on the areas that need it the most.
Youth players
Working with kidsWhen teaching kids, I adapt my lessons to be fun and engaging, using games and activities that make learning enjoyable. I focus on building a strong foundation in the basics while incorporating age-appropriate drills and exercises that keep their interests and energy levels high. Patience and encouragement are key, as I strive to create a positive and supportive environment where young players feel confident and excited to learn.
