I have been doing lessons and hitting drills with Joey for about 3 years. I have gone from top 100 in the nation to top 10 in the nation and I believe it is because of Joey. He finds the little things and is able to make everything make sense, even at a high level. He is great!
Mike
I have been taking lessons from Joey for the past 3 years now. He has helped me in so many ways. Whether it is technique or it is point play, he knows what he is doing and is a very effective communicator.
Jackson
My name is Jackson and I have been taking lessons with Joey for the last 2 years. He is one of the best. He is very detailed and won’t move on from a concept unless you fully understand it. He has helped me improve so much and I would recommend him to anyone looking to improve!
Amber
I enjoy taking lessons with Joey. He has helped on the mental side of the game the most, with body language and strategy. He is very insightful, I recommend!
Andrew
Joey is so fun and positive! He loves to laugh and smile on the court and I appreciate that! His video analysis is very helpful because when you see yourself do the movements it makes everything easier to understand. I am still a beginner but I enjoy learning from Joey!

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonFor the first lesson, you will learn the fundamentals like grip, swing path and spin and all the different shots.
Lesson 11+We will improve on the weak area of your game and begin to work on different strategies on how to win in point play.
Lesson 4-10The next lessons will now include rallying and scoring, while still keeping the correct technique.
Lesson 2-3Second lesson includes grip, swing path and spin but will now include movement and tracking of the ball.

Advanced training plan
Your first lessonI will begin the first lesson by analyzing what are your strengths and weaknesses and go through all of the areas in your game to see how I can help. I will take a look at all the strokes, the volleys and the serve.
Lesson 11+Lesson 11+ will focus on rallying and point play while still taking time to focus on technique. I think it is important to not get involved on point play too soon because you may develop bad habits from trying to win, thus technique starts diminishing.
Lesson 4-10From the next lessons on I will be focused on tactics while still working on fundamentals as well. You will be learning strategies on how to win points and matches more often than not.
Lesson 2-3Second and third lessons include a little more movement and I will introduce more difficulty in my feeding to see what other areas need help.

What you need to bringBring your tennis racket and a water bottle!

What I can bringI bring balls, cones, ladders and you can borrow a racket if needed.
