Your first lessonInstructions about tennis in general Checking tennis background Basic understanding: 1. Grips. 1. Continental - Serve, Volley, Chipping (slicing), Smashing. 2. Western, Semi-western - Forehand. 2. Setup. 1. Unit turn: By preparing foot, body & racket together. 2. Serve: Understanding the throwing position before the toss falls. 3. Volley: Preparing the racket just behind the contact. Use Step/Catch/Step footwork.
Lesson 11+Advanced Techniques: 1. Weight transfer for all strokes. 2. Forehand slice. 3. Inside-outs. 4. Inside-ins. 5. Backhand smash. 6. Jumping backhand. 7. Middle-approach shot. 8. Swinging volley. 9. Backhand topspin lob.
Lesson 4-10Impact Point. 1. Groundstrokes: Out in front. At waist height. 2. Serve: With a fully extended arm. 1 oโ€™clock. 3. Volley: Out in front. At check height. Hitting Zone. 1. Groundstrokes: Extending the racket face towards the target. Maintain a stable & laid-back wrist at the contact. 2. Serve: Throwing the racket face up at the ball. Reach up and turn the forearm. 3. Volley: Catching action by keeping the racket face towards the target.
Lesson 2-31. Basic drills: 1. Downs: Hitting down 100 times in a row. 1. Semi-Western grip. 2. Hitting fast, slow using the center of the string. 2. Ups: Hitting up 100 times in a row. 1. Continental grip. 3. Shadow Strokes: Working on all tennis swings with perfect technique. 1. Using a mirror, film yourself. 4. Hold the finish. 1. Dropping the ball in front of the body (Getting the lead arm, the ball offhand out), and swing through. 2. Both hands reaching through and out to the target. 3. Catching the follow-through and pointing the racket butt to the other side of the court. 4. Hold the finish for about 3 seconds with balance.
