Your first lessonAsses their game and goals in tennis and the specific lesson at hand.
Lesson 2-3More of a general focus on technical or tactical aspects of their game that they’re wanting to improve.
Lesson 4-10The “working phase.” This is the phase where the student will confront old habits / break them and develop new better ones in their game. This area is where most of the initial changes and growth are made in one’s game !
Lesson 11+Some noticeable changes/ growth in their game on areas previously seen as weaknesses.
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonUsing my experience from competing on tour as well as coaching collegiately I will asses someone’s game and ask about areas they’re looking to improve.
Lesson 2-3The client can expect to dive a bit deeper into their game at this point in time getting more specific with their goals as to why something works or why it doesn’t work in their game and how to best address this.
Lesson 4-10The “changing” phase. Often times to go from point A to point B there needs to be some level of trust in the coach / and themselves as a player. This trust will guide them through uncertainties or discomforts faced while changing certain aspects of their game.
