Honestly, I felt like the lesson really hit the mark, especially with how Fin emphasized the importance of consistency, which is something I’ve struggled with. Although I still have some technical adjustments to make, I left feeling more aware of my stance and movement on court. Still, I think with a bit more practice, I could definitely see noticeable progress. If you're aiming to fine-tune your game, it might be worth giving Fin a shot.

Honestly, Fin's lesson was pretty good. The highlight was definitely how he made everything feel really engaging and approachable, which I appreciated. Still, my aim is to continue refining my technique, so I’m hopeful about future lessons. If you’re looking to improve your game without any fuss, you might want to give Fin a try.

We’ve had two lessons with Fin so far, and he’s been great. He’s helped us with our strokes and is also just an all-around really nice guy. He’s very communicative through the teachme app, and has been flexible with scheduling. We have one more lesson with him next week, and we’re already looking forward to booking more lessons with him when we’re back in St. Pete next year!

Fin Sallows is an excellent tennis coach who I would thoroughly recommend. Over the last few years, Fin has taught my two sons, Luke (aged 10) and James (8), in a combination of group and private lessons. Fin’s approach to tennis is very engaging and he has been instrumental in the strong development of both my sons’ game. Fin is great with kids and quickly developed a strong rapport with Luke and James, despite them being very different characters. Fin has worked really well with Luke, developing his technique, helping him become a strong, competitive player who plays with confidence and a smile on his face. This says a lot about Fin as Luke is a shy and timid boy who is not naturally confident. Fin’s patient demeanour and constant encouragement is one of his key strengths as a coach. James is a confident character with natural sporting ability and Fin has been superb at getting the best out of James and improving his technique. Fin kept the lessons fun and diverse which was really important for James who had become bored under previous coaches and was close to giving up the sport. As well as coaching my two sons, Fin has also regularly coached me. I thoroughly enjoyed my tennis with Fin where the sessions were varied, challenging but good fun. Fin’s competitive nature made for some great matches, especially as he struggles to deal with middle aged players who slice the ball a lot! Safe to say he doesn’t like getting beaten, but fortunately for Fin that is something he manages to avoid most of the time. In summary, Fin is a fantastic all round coach who will be greatly missed by our whole family. His maturity is well beyond his age and he is a lovely guy to boot. Fin is an excellent coach regardless of the ability, character or age of the people he is coaching.

SO. Both of my children (Graeme (20) and Ashleigh (16)) have played tennis for the past several years. During the past 6 years, in addition to instruction and coaching at Summit Country Day School, both of my children have received additional instruction from Fin. My son is now a Sophomore at Loyola University of Chicago and continues to play competitive tennis on their Club Team. When he returns home, we always make sure that he has instruction time and practices with Fin. Finding a tennis pro that my kids both enjoy has been a challenge over the years. However, both Graeme and Ashleigh adore Fin. My wife and I do too. We are saddened that his life journey is taking him to the warm weather of Florida but understand fully that some of life's pursuits require a change in venue. We plan on keeping in touch with Fin as he has become a close friend of the family. He even came to some of Graeme's matches while he was still in high school to show his support.

Where do I start. Coach Fin is the best, he has taught me (38) my sister (41) my son (9) my other son (5) and my nephew (11). We have all not got a bad word to say about coach Fin. His ability to help all of us improve and enjoy the game of tennis is why we all keep playing with him. He’s knowledge and talent of the sport is so impressive to see and we have all improved over the last 4 years he’s taught us.
