Earl Beebe enters his second season as an assistant coach for JCU Women’s and Men’s Tennis in the 2024-25 academic year. In his first season, the Blue Streaks clinched spots in the OAC Tournament on both the men's and the women's sides. JCU Men's Tennis finished as the OAC Tournament Runners-Up. Earl Beebe brings 17 years of high school coaching experience to John Carroll. He has compiled 239 wins as head coach at Lake Catholic High School and assistant head coach at Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin and Hathaway Brown High Schools. Beebe has trained 8 players to the OHSAA state championship and 10 additional players to the district level. While head coach at Lake Catholic, he achieved the winningest seasons in the school's history. Beebe is a certified tennis coach through the United States Professional Tennis Association and the Professional Tennis Registry. He is also an active captain for multiple USTA adult tennis teams. Beebe is currently a high school special education teacher. Before becoming an education professional, he was in corporate management at United Parcel Service. He owned an agricultural production company and a financial service enterprise until he found the desire to help students in need. His son, Mark Beebe, was a four-year varsity standout player for the Streaks tennis team, graduating in 2022.
