Beginner training plan
Your first lessonTalk about goals for the player. What do they want to achieve with tennis? Walk through the basics of grip, forehand and backhand, and movement. Hit some balls and tweak things as necessary!
Lesson 11+Continued drills to improve form, technique and general anticipation. By this point we will be able to discuss playing a match and the general form of the game!
Lesson 4-10More forehands and backhands + incorporating volleys and serves into the mix!
Lesson 2-3Repitition of drills hitting forehands and backhands to really nail down a general form + some fun games!

Advanced training plan
Your first lessonHit with them for a good 15 minutes to help gauge their level. Discuss any particular points of emphasis / parts of their game that they want to work on and tailor drills around that. Fun games / competitive drills to end.
Lesson 11+Continued focus on all areas of the game, whether it be match play, specific stroke form, or physical and mental training for tournament performance.
Lesson 4-10Each week will be specific to an area the student wishes to work on, with tailored drills to improve consistency.
Lesson 2-3Further progressions of drills for the areas the student withes to work on + more match play if desired.

Youth players
Working with kidsThe main aim here is to make sure they are having fun! More games, more breaks, and more opportunities for them to ask questions!

Working with teenagersHere I focus on keeping the student engaged through a mix of games and drills. With high school team players and upward in level I will dedicate more time to the mental aspect of the game.
