Hi my name is Dalton and I am a local Concord tennis coach with over 13 years of playing experience and over 8 years of teaching experience! I taught privately in Athens, Georgia for 2 years and coached the Athens Academy girls and boys varsity teams for 3 years before moving to Charlotte where I have taught for the past 2 years. I’m a University of Georgia graduate and during my time there I played on the Club Tennis Team. In my spare time, I love rooting for the Dawgs, playing tennis with friends, and staying in shape. I was a die-hard Federer fan until his retirement in 2022 so I have recently found myself rooting very hard for Frances Tiafoe in his absence.

Dalton is one of the best coaches I have ever had! Not only did he teach me new skills, he fixed the techniques that were wrongly taught to me in the past by other coaches. Other than being a great coach skillfully, he taught me and my doubles partner how to work and move together as one. Dalton made sure that we were engaged in what he was teaching us by using fun games and new innovation drills that worked us into having good technical forehands and backhands that became habitual therefore making us just better players overall!

Dalton is by far my favorite tennis coach. He is very easy to work with, kind, and hardworking. He is able to teach us new games and drills to focus on certain aspects of our game as well as focusing specifically on technique and form. He makes the game a lot more fun. He’s also very interactive and gives great tips on how to improve your strokes. He focused on my split step and footwork while I was at the net during doubles, greatly improving my game!
