Beginner training plan
Your first lessonThe first lesson focuses on evaluating your current level, learning your goals, and building a strong foundation. We’ll cover proper grips, ready position, footwork, forehand, backhand, and basic rally skills through fun drills. You’ll also receive feedback and a personalized plan to help you improve quickly.
Lesson 2-3We’ll reinforce the fundamentals while introducing serves, volleys, movement, consistency, and point construction. You’ll participate in rally drills, target exercises, and game-based activities designed to build confidence and improve technique in real match situations.
Lesson 4-10At this stage, you’ll develop more consistency, better footwork, stronger serves, and improved shot selection. We’ll work on spin, depth, directional control, match tactics, and mental toughness while playing points and simulated match situations to accelerate your progress.
Lesson 11+Lessons become fully personalized based on your goals. Whether you’re preparing for tournaments, improving your UTR, making your high school or college team, or simply becoming a better recreational player, we’ll continue refining technique, strategy, fitness, and the mental aspects of the game through advanced drills and match play.
What you need to bringPlease bring your tennis racket (if you have one), comfortable athletic clothing, tennis shoes, a water bottle, and a positive attitude. If you don't own a racket yet, let me know in advance and I'll be happy to provide one for the lesson.
