Born and raised in South Philadelphia, Coach Bryan Hughes is a product of Philadelphia’s parks and recreational programs. His 30+ years of teaching includes 6 NJCAA National Tittles coaching with Tyler Junior College, including 6 individual Rolex National Champions. He has directed community and country club programs in Florida and Texas and started Jedi Tennis LLC, here in Philadelphia, in 2008, as well as The South Philadelphia Tennis Association in 2010. Certified Premier Provider for the USTA as well as Middle States Committee Member, The SPTA was The USTA Middle States Section "Community Tennis Association of the Year." TJC Tennis Tech Graduate and Instructor, Also Coached USTA National Champions in Juniors, Adult Singles, Doubles and Team, Texas State High School Singles, Doubles, and Team Champions. Little Mo National Champion and USTA Adult and Junior League Coordinator and USTA and ITF Certified Umpire. NJTL Singles and Doubles, and Team Champions. Stanford University Summer Coach.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonInitial introduction and discussion to understanderstand player goals and expectations. On court warm up, and rally, including player evaluation. Continued discussion revisiting player goals and desires. Formulate and communicate a comprehensive lesson plan necessary to accomplish individual needs, and explaining the options for manageable goal attainment via explained coaching methods. THE OBJECTIVE IS TO ALWAYS TEACH THE INDIVIDUAL, INDIVIDUALY!
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonDynamic warm up and Stretch, on court warm up, rally and player evaluation and discussion. Identify player needs and desires while formulating a comprehensive lesson plan carried to individual needs and manageable goals.
What you need to bringA good attitude and preparation for fun and success. Water, a towel, and laced sneakers meant for mild or above sport, Ankle support a bonus!
What I can bringLarge Ball Basket, Red, Orange, Green, or Yellow Stage Balls, USTA Recommended Adult and Junior Rackets for All Sizes and Levels. Cross Training and Cardio, as well as Tennis Specific Specialty Equipment and Teaching Aids. Ball Machine.

If you need to cancel your lesson, no worries! You can get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours of making your booking. We want to make the process as hassle-free as possible for you.

And if you simply want to reschedule your lesson, change the date and time, or adjust the number of students joining, we've got you covered there too. You can easily make these changes within 24 hours of booking, and up to 72 hours before your lesson starts.
