Beginner training plan
Your first lessonI get to know the individual and what goals they have. From there I see there groundstrokes, serve, and volleys to know where we should start working. If they have never played tennis before we will start with learning the technique basics for every shot and rallying. At the end of the lesson we will work on proper serve technique practice serving for a bit. I will have a handout that I can give you if you don’t understand the rules and scoring and I can walk you through that if wanted as well.
Lesson 11+We will continue working on progressing the technique, footwork, body mechanics, and the strategies and tactics. And of course, if you ever want to work on anything specifically just bring it up and we will.
Lesson 4-10In these lessons we will continue to work on everything mentioned previously but progressing the shots to a more advanced level. And working on strategy and tactics for matches.
Lesson 2-3We will work on rallying more and movement and footwork will start to be focused on. We will start working on the serve in the rallies as well. But if you want to work on anything specifically just bring it up and we can work on it.
