Coach Andrew, a graduate of the University of California, Irvine, began his coaching career as a full-time teaching professional at Kaveon International Tennis, where he discovered his passion for the game. Over the years, he has coached at several prestigious tennis academies and clubs, including Kaveon International Tennis (2014-2017), RCI, Nellie Gail Ranch Tennis Club, Jackson Bridge Tennis Academy (2017-2021), Los Cab Sports Village, Southern California Tennis Academy (2021-Present), and El Dorado Tennis Center. Throughout his career, Andrew has worked as a hitting coach for numerous top-tier players, including Anne Christine Lutkemeyer (Blue Chip, UTR 11, full-ride UCLA), Maxine Murphy (5-star, UTR 10, full-ride University of Washington), Max Pham (Blue Chip, UTR 11, full-ride UC Davis), Alan Ton (5-star, UTR 11, full-ride Army), and Haley Tran (5-star, UTR 9, rising sophomore). In addition to coaching these exceptional athletes, Andrew also served as Captain and Coach for the Vietnam Tennis Team, participating in major international events such as the Federation Cup in Kazakhstan (2013), Davis Cup in Sri Lanka (2011), Southeast Asian Games in Indonesia (2011), and the Asian Games in China (2010). Andrew’s coaching philosophy is grounded in his passion for teaching players of all ages and skill levels. Whether it’s focusing on the fundamentals or providing high-level instruction, Andrew is committed to helping his students reach their full potential. He brings a wealth of international experience and knowledge to the Agape Tennis Academy in California, where he continues to inspire and develop the next generation of tennis talent.
