About your tennis coach
I am a seasoned tennis player with 16 years of experience, including a stint as the first lady's Valley Champion and the #1 varsity player at my old school. Proudly an SSL champion, I've extended my passion for tennis to coaching. Through West Side Recreation & Park, I've guided children as young as 5, instilling skills in forehands, backhands, serving, slicing, and weaving in plenty of fun drills and summer camps. I've also coached adults upon request. As an ambitious, passionate, and bilingual leader (fluent in Spanish), I'm here to help others advance their tennis skills in a simple yet enjoyable way, all while staying active. Let's hit the courts and make tennis an exciting journey of improvement and fitness!

So much to say! Ana is an incredibly talented person. Kind, caring, ambitious, motivational. And an incredible tennis player. I’ve been long time friends with her, we played tennis in Highschool together. She was our team player, and with her lead we had incredible season. Beginner training plan
Your first lessonIntroduce myself and determine what skill level you are at and stretch go over the basics drills and and have fun.
Lesson 11+We will be playing a bit of everything including forehand, backhand serves, rules and scoring.
Lesson 4-10Stretching, drills, forehand backhand form and serves
Lesson 2-3Practice makes perfect, we will be stretching, doing drills and practicing forehand and backhand
Youth players
Working with kidsI have been working with coaching kids in tennis since around 2011. They learn fast and are not afraid to put their best foot forward and keep trying.
Working with teenagersWith teenagers I adapt with structure control and also some freedom for them to do things a bit more independently while still watching them in order to help them practice and improve their tennis skills.
