Beginner training plan
Your first lessonGetting to understand the racket and working on hand and eye coordination and point system. As well at how the court works
Lesson 11+Should be able to to hit the balls back when being served. Keep track of point system while playing matches. Work on perfecting serves and forehands and backhands. Run the drills without difficulty. Should be able to serve without difficulty and play full matches
Lesson 4-10Run drills and keep practicing forehand and backhands along with serves. Practice makes perfect. Play a couple practice matches or just hit back and fourth along the court with the point system.
Lesson 2-3Hand and eye coordination, beginning to work on hitting the tennis balls with forehands and backhands. Learning how to volley at the front of the court. Practice serves and run drills with me.
What you need to bringPreferably your own racket. I can bring tennis balls. Bring water and snacks to stay hydrated
