Born and raised in Minsk, Belarus, Alexander Meliuk has carved out an illustrious 25-year career in the tennis industry, excelling as both a player and a coach. His journey from the courts of Europe to the competitive arenas of the United States is a testament to his dedication, skill, and passion for the game. Playing Career Alexander's playing career is highlighted by his time as a member of the Belarus Davis Cup reserve team. In his years as a junior player, he competed against some of the top players in the world, including the former World No. 1, Daniil Medvedev. His talent and hard work earned him a full scholarship to San Diego Christian College, where he continued to shine. Alexander not only won multiple individual awards but also achieved a top-10 national ranking in his division, further solidifying his reputation as a formidable player. Alexander was rated at 13 UTR in College but decided to pursue a career as a coach upon graduation and help other people achieve their goals and transform their lives. Coaching Career Transitioning from player to coach, Alexander has been equally successful. He has developed three blue-chip players who have gone on to compete in Division 1 tennis, a testament to his ability to nurture talent at the highest levels. Additionally, Alexander has coached multiple five-star players, guiding them to secure scholarships at top colleges across the United States. His experience extends to the professional level, where he has worked under the supervision of Joseph Gilbert, one of the most respected coaches in the country. Gilbert's accolades include multiple Coach of the Year awards and the development of national champions and professional players like Jensen Brooksby, ranked #33 in the world, and Katie Volynets, ranked #57.
