Ryan
Abasi’s lessons are great. I am a junior tennis player competing in USTA tournaments. He is a great hitting partner to test my level and strategies against and gives good tips that I use in my tournaments. He has also helped me increase my power on my serve and ground strokes. Highly recommend.
Ethan
Abasi has helped take my game to the next level. His expertise on the mechanics of the strokes have added more power to my game with less physical and mental effort
Sophie
Abasi is a great hitting partner/coach. I am a high level high school player on track to play D1 in a couple years. Playing sets and getting feedback from Abasi is great. His high level allows me to play all out against a stronger opponent and improve very quickly. His tips on decision making are also top notch.
Will
I’ve only had a few lessons with Abasi but he has already begun to improve my game. I am an amateur player that competes in USTA tournaments and he has improved my footwork and results in tournaments. He brings real experience as he is currently playing on the ITF Futures Tour. And that knowledge translates very well to my level.
Aidan
I am a new tennis player getting into the game in my 40’s. Abasi has been great and very patient teaching me proper grip, technique and footwork. We’ve only had 2 lessons so far but I will definitely be continuing.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonFirst I have my students do basic tennis and movement drills to gauge their overall athletic ability and familiarity with tennis movements.
Lesson 11+we will continue to reinforce all parts of the game and touch on strategy based on the players growing skill level
Lesson 4-10By lessons 4-10 students can expect to be able to rally more consistently and have a better grasp on the basics and began learning the serve and volley.
Lesson 2-3We continue working on the basics getting more comfortable with the correct grip, swing path of the racket and lots of hand feeds to get the repetition and muscle memory.

Advanced training plan
Your first lessonI gauge the students fundamental skill and see what the depth of knowledge of the game in regard to strategy, tactics and certain game situations.
Lesson 11+We will continue to play points and work on performance under pressure.
Lesson 4-10In the following lessons we will continue to reinforce weaker points while also improving strengths. And we will begin to implement 3–4 ball patterns that can be implemented in points.
Lesson 2-3In the next lessons we will continue to drill weaker parts of the game and play points to see how well the student can implement their strengths in a real point situation.

Youth players
Working with kidsI implement fun and engaging drills to keep interest from the student and encourage them with positive reinforcement and kind corrections. Lessons will teach technique and coordination along with inciting an interest in learning and getting better not just at tennis but at other aspects in life.

Working with teenagersWorking with teenagers I teach based on skill level and apply the correct amount of push to get the effort needed to improve or guidance to lead them to their next level

What you need to bringTennis racket and proper tennis shoes

What I can bringI can bring a basket of balls and cart. As well as extra tennis rackets if needed. Also cones
