Lesson 1 β Assessment & Water Confidence
For children:
I begin by introducing myself and getting to know the child in a friendly and supportive way. The first lesson focuses on building trust, exploring the water together, and helping the swimmer overcome any fear or discomfort to create a positive first experience.
For teens and adults:
I start by introducing myself and learning about the swimmerβs goals and previous experience. I then conduct a brief swimming assessment to evaluate their current skill level, allowing me to create a personalized training plan with clear goals and a structured progression throughout the 12 lessons.
Lessons 2β3 β Building Confidence & Fundamental Skills
For children:
Training begins according to the personalized plan developed after the initial assessment. These sessions focus on building water confidence through fun, engaging activities, including water games and interactive exercises. The goal is to help children feel relaxed, enjoy being in the water, and gradually develop comfort with floating through simple, age-appropriate drills.
For teens and adults:
Training follows the personalized plan established during the first lesson. The focus is on mastering the fundamentals of swimming, including breathing techniques, basic floating, proper kicking mechanics, body position, and relaxation in the water to build a strong foundation for future progress.
Advanced swimmers:
Advanced-level swimmers follow a customized training program designed around their current abilities, goals, and performance needs.
