Lesson 11+
• Warm-up (800m total): • 300m freestyle with negative splits • 200m IM drill • 300m kick (mix flutter, breaststroke, and dolphin) • Main Set: • 10×100m freestyle threshold pace (10s rest) • 6×50m backstroke or breaststroke sprints • 4×25m hypoxic freestyle (breathe every 5 strokes) • Cool-down: • 400m easy swim, mix of strokes

Youth players
Working with kidsI Use short, kid-friendly explanations (e.g., “Make ice cream scoops” for freestyle arms). • Demonstrate each skill before asking them to try. • Physically guide them when needed, like supporting their back in a float.

Working with teenagers I Teach skills, then let them try on their own rather than guiding every step. • Give personalized feedback and encourage them to analyze their own technique.

What you need to bring 1. Swimsuit – Comfortable, well-fitting swimwear (one-piece for girls, swim trunks or jammers for boys) 2. Towel – For drying off after lessons 3. Goggles – To protect eyes and improve underwater vision 4. Swim Cap – Especially for students with long hair 5. Water Bottle – Staying hydrated is important 6. Flip-Flops or Pool Shoes – For walking around the pool deck 7. Nose Clip (Optional) – For students sensitive to water in the nose 8. Earplugs (Optional) – For students prone to ear infections 9. Change of Clothes – Dry clothes for after the lesson 10. Bag for Wet Items – To carry wet swimsuits and towels after class
