Lesson 2-3Goals: Kicking + body position 1. Straight flutter kick (Pool-edge “rocket kicks” (high hips) • Kickboard torpedoes (teacher holds board for alignment) 2. Horizontal body position •Superman glide off wall (2 ft, then 4 ft) • Back glide push-offs (ears in water, eyes up) 3. Side breathing •Log roll drill All 3 of these will be reinforced with fun games as well as drills!
Lesson 4-10Lessons 4-7: Freestyle Lessons 8-10: Backstroke + Intro to butterfly
Lesson 11+Butterfly, breastroke, refining freestyle and backstroke technique

Advanced training plan
Your first lesson1. Film a 25 yd of each stroke from three angles (deck, underwater, head-on) 2. Record baseline metrics: stroke-count, stroke-rate, 15 m breakout time, turn time 3. Mini “challenge” set to determine aerobic/threshold speed (if time allows) *Every session: Deck-side filming= immediate review and feedback*
Lesson 2-3Correct the single biggest drag source per stroke *Every session: Deck-side filming= immediate review and feedback*
Lesson 4-10Continue corrections and implement drills and training techniques *Every session: Deck-side filming= immediate review and feedback*
Lesson 11+ Continue corrections NEW: - Option to review habits out of the water (lifting/dryland training, recovery) and create a plan to maximize productivity -Option to receive specialized sets tailored to you that you can complete that’ll enforce what we’ve been working on + help build speed/endurance *Every session: Deck-side filming= immediate review and feedback*

Youth players
Working with kidsI turn every skill into an adventure: safety rules become a “treasure hunt,” kicks are “rocket boosters,” and streamlined glides earn high fives! By weaving games, bright visuals, and quick praise checkpoints into each lesson, I keep attention high while quietly layering real stroke fundamentals underneath the fun. Progress is measured in tiny, confidence-building wins, so even the most timid swimmers leave the pool smiling and excited, which will ultimately help them feel the most at ease in the water

Working with teenagersWith teens I shift from play to purpose. We set clear performance goals (drop 2 seconds in the 50 free, nail a legal breast pullout) and back them up with data such as split tracking, and video feedback that they can review on their phones. Lessons mix challenging race-pace sets with targeted drill work, plus short “why it matters” chats so athletes understand the biomechanics behind each tweak. The vibe is collaborative and empowering: they own their progress, I provide the tools and accountability to get better.

What you need to bringA swimsuit, goggles, swim cap (optional), and a smile (required!)

What I can bringKickboard, pull bouy, fins, and paddles
