Beginner training plan
Your first lessonI will have students demonstrate their level of comfortability in the water, whether that is just being in the water to their shoulders or putting their head underwater.
Lesson 2-3I will have students practice pushing off the wall, and doing various skills underwater as comfortable
Lesson 4-10I will teach students arm and leg motions for freestyle and have them practice them separately with support from me and a kick board as necessary and eventually have students put the skills together, still with support from me and potentially the kick board.
Lesson 11+Students will continue to practice freestyle with progressively less assistance and will progress to practicing various entries and dives if students are comfortable.
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonI will have students demonstrate each of their strokes to get an idea of where they’re at and discuss with student their goals for swimming and which strokes they want to focus on.
Lesson 2-3
