Beginner training plan
Your first lessonLearning proper paddle technique. Correct body positioning and learning how to pop up.
Lesson 11+Catching unbroken waves and learning how to turn and how to properly move our feet relative to the wave.
Lesson 4-10Paddling into waves unassisted. Body positioning while on your feet along with board control.
Lesson 2-3Wave selection and paddle timing. We will also work on standing up on broken waves.
Youth players
Working with kidsI take a slow approach first building their confidence being on a board. I create a level of trust and excitement being in the ocean and catering the lesson to their needs and comforts.
What you need to bringWetsuits are recommended. Many local shops in the area have available rentals.
What I can bringI can provide a beginners surfboard.
