About your spanish coach
I was born in Cuba. I earned a degree in Education and worked as a High School teacher. I emigrated to Costa Rica, revalidated my teaching credentials and taught in Elementary schools. I later immigrated to de USA and studied Radiologic Technology. Today I work at Baptist Hospital as an Xray, Bone Density and Mammography Technologist. I have continued my passion for education by providing Spanish and Math tutoring to students of all ages.

Your first lessonThe first thing that would be important for me is to understand my student’s learning style, interests, and the reason why they want to learn Spanish.
Lesson 2-3We will then begin the learning process by focusing on what is most important for the student’s specific needs. Depending on their goals, we may start with conversational Spanish, vocabulary building, or grammar. The lessons will be personalized to ensure that learning is practical, engaging, and relevant to the student’s objectives.
Lesson 4-10From that point forward, we will have established a strong foundation for fast, effective, and meaningful learning. By tailoring the lessons to the student’s goals, interests, and learning style, we can maximize progress and make the learning experience both enjoyable and successful.
Lesson 11+After that, all that remains is practice, practice, and more practice using real-life situations and modern-day examples. My goal is to guide each student step by step, helping them build confidence and develop the skills they need to reach their personal, academic, or professional goals in Spanish.
Youth players
Working with kidsWith children, I adapt lessons by making them fun, interactive, and age-appropriate. I use games, stories, songs, and real-life activities to keep them engaged while building their Spanish skills naturally and confidently.
Working with teenagersWith teenagers, I adapt lessons to their interests, goals, and real-life situations. I use topics they can relate to, such as travel, music, sports, social media, and future career plans, making learning practical, engaging, and relevant to their lives.
