During the first lesson, I will conduct a diagnostic assessment to identify the student’s current language proficiency, academic strengths, and areas for growth. I will also observe the student’s learning style, interests, and communication preferences to create personalized lessons that support their goals and maximize their learning experience.
During the second and third lessons, I will build on the results of the diagnostic assessment by providing targeted instruction in the four language domains: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Each one-hour lesson will include dedicated time for each domain through engaging, interactive activities designed to strengthen fluency, build confidence, and support the student’s individual learning goals. My objective is to help students develop well-rounded Spanish/English proficiency by integrating all four language skills into every lesson.
By Lessons 4–10, students are expected to demonstrate measurable progress in all four language domains. They will expand their vocabulary, strengthen their understanding and use of grammar, improve their reading comprehension and writing skills, and develop greater confidence in speaking and listening. Instruction will continue to be personalized and adjusted based on the student’s progress, ensuring steady growth toward greater fluency and effective communication in real-life and academic settings.
Beginning with Lesson 11 and continuing throughout the program, students will build on this foundation by gaining greater confidence and increasing their ability to engage in conversations with improved fluency and accuracy. Instruction will remain personalized and adjusted based on each student’s progress, ensuring steady growth toward effective communication in both real-life and academic settings.
