Beginner training plan
Your first lessonI start by creating a welcoming environment and introducing a few basic greetings and expressions. I model the language, provide guided practice through interactive activities, explain classroom expectations, and end with a simple speaking activity so students leave feeling confident and excited to learn Spanish.
Lesson 2-3In lessons 2–3, I review greetings and introductions, then expand vocabulary with numbers, classroom objects, and basic questions. Students practice through repetition, partner dialogues, and short listening and speaking activities. I include visuals, gestures, and guided practice to support comprehension, and end with simple communicative tasks where students use Spanish in short exchanges.
Lesson 4-10From lessons 4–10, I gradually build foundational Spanish skills through structured input and consistent practice. Students expand vocabulary and grammar (such as numbers, days, classroom language, basic verbs, and simple sentence patterns), while continuing to strengthen greetings and introductions. Each lesson includes modeling, guided practice, listening and speaking activities, partner work, and short formative checks. I use visuals, repetition, and interactive tasks to support comprehension and help students begin forming simple sentences in Spanish.
Lesson 11+In lesson 11, I transition students from basic vocabulary to more structured communication by reviewing prior content and introducing a new target skill or grammar focus. Students practice through guided input, interactive speaking activities, and short reading or listening tasks. The lesson emphasizes using Spanish in complete simple sentences, with a brief formative assessment or exit ticket to check understanding.

Advanced training plan
Your first lessonIn lesson 1, I establish expectations for using Spanish consistently, activate prior knowledge, and introduce thematic vocabulary or a review of key grammar structures through authentic materials.
Lesson 2-3In lesson 1, I establish expectations for using Spanish consistently, activate prior knowledge, and introduce thematic vocabulary or a review of key grammar structures through authentic materials. In lessons 2–3, students engage in structured review and expansion of complex grammar and vocabulary, with emphasis on speaking in full sentences, partner discussions, and interpretive listening/reading tasks using authentic resources.
Lesson 4-10In lessons 4–10, students continue developing proficiency through thematic units, analyzing authentic texts, and practicing more advanced grammar in context. Activities include debates, presentations, reading comprehension, listening analysis, and written responses with increasing depth and detail.

What you need to bringStudents need a notebook, pencils or pens, a charged Chromebook or laptop with internet access, headphones for listening activities, and access to our online learning platforms. They should also come prepared to participate, complete assignments, and practice speaking Spanish every day.

What I can bringI bring a variety of instructional materials to support student learning, including printed copies, online resources, audio recordings, videos, interactive activities, and authentic materials. I use technology and multimedia to engage students and provide meaningful opportunities to practice listening, speaking, reading, and writing in Spanish.
