Youth players
Working with kidsWith kids, I keep a structured program, not a lot of standing around constantly moving and I ask a lot of questions to make sure that the athlete is retaining the information.
Working with teenagersTeenagers I structure my programs very similar, but tend to have more one-on-one conversations about their playing goals along with their mental coping skills when managing failure.
What you need to bringGloves, bat, helmet
What I can bringI have 12 inch and 11 inch softballs, pitching rubber plates, tennis balls, a ladder, J band,mini band. Sometimes I will have a pitching mat, bonnet, but I have a full cage with a nine pocket and L screens.
