Beginner training plan
Your first lessonDuring the first lesson, I focus on understanding the player. I start with a short warm-up and simple ball-control exercises to assess coordination, confidence, and basic technique. I ask the player about their goals, positions they like, and any past experience. Then I introduce fundamental skills such as dribbling, passing, first touch, and body mechanics. The session stays positive and fun, building trust and confidence while setting a clear plan for future lessons.
Lesson 11+Lessons 11+ focus on development and performance. At this point:
• The player trains like an advanced beginner with a personalized program
• We work on consistency, stronger technique, and sharper game understanding
• Sessions include small-sided games, decision-making drills, and situational training
• Fitness, strength, coordination, and speed are incorporated
• We correct mistakes, build confidence, and prepare them to play at a competitive level
This stage transforms the player into someone who understands the game, plays with purpose, and shows clear improvement every week.
Lesson 4-10Lessons 4–10 build real progress. Players can expect:
• Stronger first touch and dribbling control
• Improved passing accuracy and movement off the ball
• Introduction to shooting technique and finishing drills
• 1v1 attacking and defending principles
• Speed, agility, and balance work
• Small tactical understanding: positioning, transitions, and game intelligence
By this phase, players begin linking skills together, gaining confidence, and training at a higher tempo with more discipline.
Lesson 2-3In lessons 2–3, the player begins learning core technical foundations. We work on:
• Dribbling with both feet
• Proper passing technique
• Receiving the ball under control
• Basic turning moves and change of direction
• Coordination and agility patterns
The goal is to improve ball familiarity and start forming good habits. Players also learn simple tactical concepts like spacing, awareness, and quick decision-making.
