About your soccer coach

I am a former Professional and International soccer footballer and have individually trained athletes for about 19 years now. I have coached football development academies for boys/girls ages 7-18. I've coached ages 2-5 with Soccer Shots, all ages of club level, coached at the high school level and I was an assistant coach at the collegiate level. I have also coached abroad in Australia and Iceland. I also served as a trainer and mentor for the Philippines Youth National Football Team in 2024.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonThe first lesson is a baseline evaluation of coordination, body awareness, footwork, first touch, passing and dribbling technique and shooting technique.
Lesson 11+A solid technical foundation is so important so we will strive for solid first touch, passing, shooting, receiving, footwork, dribbling, etc. Once we have a good hold on those aspects then we can move into the more complex aspects of the game.
Lesson 4-10Repetition, repetition repetition. Cultivating good habits and discipline through simple exercises and progressions to build off of.
Lesson 2-3Introducing the basics of technique and the ‘why’ behind movements and exercises.
What you need to bringStudents just need their boots, water, and a ball if they have one.
What I can bringI bring balls, cones, a ladder. I have access to hurdles and bands and other agility tools as well.
