Go through basic ball skills, passing/receiving, shooting and evaluate where you are as a player and what you need to improve on.
Start hitting technical areas such as passing and receiving, 1v1 skills and striking the ball on target.
I focus on building comfort and confidence right away. We start with a quick technical warm-up to assess their current ability, then move into simple ball-mastery exercises so I can identify strengths, challenges, and learning style. I keep the session positive, high-touch, and clear, giving players 1–2 immediate wins so they leave feeling motivated and excited to train.
Advanced fundamentals are introduced with greater intensity: combination play, beating defenders 1v1, striking variety, and applying skills in game-like scenarios. Players begin polishing technique, improving speed of play, and building stronger soccer IQ. At this stage, training supports long-term development—helping athletes transition from “learning the basics” to becoming capable, confident, and adaptable players.
This period focuses on developing reliable technical habits. Players work on receiving under pressure, directional first touch, dribbling moves, passing accuracy, and finishing technique. Sessions become more challenging with added speed, decision-making, and small competitive moments. Beginners start to feel more in control of the ball and more aware of the game. By Lesson 10, most players see clear improvement in footwork, coordination, and confidence.
